Rev. Kymberley Clemons-Jones, affectionately known as Rev. KC, is a Connecticut native, a wife, mother, sister, preacher, author, advocate, and coach. She weaves her passions for ministry, coaching, and advocacy to help women and children reach their highest potential by helping them align with Spirit and their true selves.
Rev. KC is a graduate of Rutgers University, Hunter College, and Union Theological Seminary where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, a Master's Degree in Educational Counseling, and a Master of Divinity Degree. She enjoys using the tools she has learned over many years of advocating for women and children such as Emotional Freedom Techniques in which she is a Certified General Practitioner.
Currently, Rev. KC serves as the part-time pastor of Valley Stream Presbyterian Church. She is also a ministry consultant and Soul Care coach with the Restored Life Group and Founder of the non-profit organization Community Healing and Caring Center Inc. which houses the W.A.N.T.E.D. Project; a young men's mentoring program for ages 12-18 years old. The program reminds young men that they are Worthy, Accountable, Named, Thankful, Empowered, and Determined. The W.A.N.T.E.D. Project is also located in Ghana, West Africa. The Senior Correctional Facility for juveniles houses the program where each youth must go through the program in order to be released from the facility after serving their sentence.
Rev. KC is author of Cured but Not Healed: How to Experience Deeper Faith on Your Journey with God which became a part of the United Methodist Women Organization's Reading Program for 2016 and a book of poetry called The Flourishing of Her Soul: A Journey Through Grief, Identity, and Divinity released in 2017.
She has received numerous awards and honors including being a part of a delegation to Vietnam and Cambodia with American Counseling Association to discuss the field of counseling and ways of introducing and expanding the field of counseling in those areas. Rev. KC was also blessed to teach at Trinity Theological Seminary and the Ghanaian Coaching Institute in Ghana during her travels to supervise the W.A.N.T.E.D. Project – Ghana.
